2025 KEYNOTE SPEAKER | |
|
Kate Garnes is a nationally recognized youth motivational speaker who helps students discover their worth, especially in the moments when no one else is there to remind them of their value. With a message that’s both empowering and deeply relatable, Kate has delivered keynotes across more than 35 states, reaching audiences from small schools to national conferences. Before stepping onto keynote stages, Kate spent over a decade as a performer for Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Studios Orlando, bringing energy, storytelling, and stage presence to thousands of guests. That same ability to captivate and connect now drives their work with young audiences, blending entertainment with transformation. Kate brings a mix of real-life wisdom, humor, and heart to every event. Whether speaking to a gymnasium full of teens or a ballroom of educators, their mission remains the same: to help every person walk away knowing they are valuable, enough, and capable of writing their own story. Kate now resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband Casey and their two cats, Sophie and Cheech. Kate is also a DJ for local and national events! When she’s not traveling for speaking, she can be found riding her bike, reading murder mysteries or consuming copious amounts of reality television. She has no regrets. KEYNOTE SESSION: Teachers give everything: time, energy, heart. But in the rush of deadlines, grading, and student needs, one essential truth gets overlooked: the kindest thing you can do for your students is to take care of yourself. Kate is giving you a permission slip to pause. To breathe. To put self-care back on your priority list, not as an indulgence, but as the foundation for effective teaching and meaningful leadership. Self-care isn’t selfish, it’s necessary. When teachers are grounded, rested, and joyful, students thrive in that same energy. This interactive keynote shares practical, uplifting strategies for weaving rest, joy, and resilience into daily life. Educators will walk away with simple, sustainable practices to protect their well-being and model healthy leadership for their students. Because when we show up whole, we give our students the best gift of all: an example of how to thrive. |
